Parallel inverter systems

A parallel system adds up inverters that work together so the system view counts them once; how each inverter is read does not change.

Available options depend on your version, permissions and hardware. For missing actions, see Security and Diagnostics.

Step by step

  1. Add every inverter first; for a Modbus shared bus or a Voltronic group, use Add device and its wizard.
  2. Create the parallel system, choose 2 to 9 inverters and whether they share one battery bank or each has its own.
  3. Pick the battery level source and check that the system view shows how many inverters are reporting.

Options explained

Shared bank
counted once; the level comes from the chosen inverter or the median of all.
Independent banks
each inverter keeps its own battery in the totals.
Voltronic group
its members come from the group and are not edited here.
Delete
removes only the grouping; inverters and history are kept.

Troubleshooting

If totals look doubled or a member is missing, check that each inverter is reporting and belongs to only one parallel system.
