Glossary and reading example

Distinguish measurements, calculations and estimates throughout the panel.

Available options depend on your version, permissions and hardware. For missing actions, see Security and Diagnostics.

Step by step

  1. Separate instantaneous power from accumulated energy.
  2. Check unit, equipment and reading time.
  3. Identify measured, calculated, forecast or missing values before deciding.

Options explained

W/kW
power; kWh: energy. 500 W for 2 h uses 1 kWh.
SOC
charge percentage; SOH: estimated health; BMS: battery management system.
Self-consumption
share of solar production used locally; self-sufficiency: consumption supplied without grid imports.
Driver
protocol definition; collector: reading process/device; MQTT: service messaging.
Timeout
delayed response; CRC: frame integrity check; hysteresis: margin avoiding repeated switching.
—/no data
missing, not zero; simulations/forecasts are not executed actions or measurements.

Troubleshooting

Producing 3 kWh and consuming 2 kWh alone does not reveal grid exchange; battery activity and the timing of flows also matter.
